Our Melbourne Shoot Diary
Melbourne has a way of making everything feel effortlessly cool. With hidden laneways, heritage buildings, standout coffee, and a fashion scene that blends vintage finds with polished city style, it is a place made for inspiration.
We recently spent 24 hours shooting new season styles across Melbourne, capturing fresh looks while exploring a few favourite local spots along the way. From deli stops to boutique-lined streets and behind-the-scenes moments, here’s a little look at where the day took us.
Morning coffee run at Hector’s Deli
No Melbourne visit feels complete without a great deli stop, so Hector’s Deli was first on the list.
Known for its cult sandwiches and relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect place to start a full shoot day. Fresh baguettes, iced coffees and that easy Melbourne buzz set the tone before we headed into outfit changes, location scouting and a day of shooting.

Style inspiration on High Street Armadale
For fashion lovers, High Street Armadale is always worth a wander.
The strip is home to beautifully curated boutiques, designer stores and window displays that make you want to rethink your wardrobe in the best way. Street style here feels polished but wearable, with tailored pieces, relaxed layers and refined everyday dressing all in the mix.
Between shoot locations, we walked the strip, soaking up inspiration from the storefronts, architecture and beautifully dressed locals.

Photo booth moments in Collingwood
Between outfit changes, we made a stop at one of Collingwood’s vintage-style photo booths.
The result? Grainy black-and-white strips, spontaneous poses and a little between-takes chaos. Exactly the kind of unplanned moment that ends up being a favourite.
Collingwood brought its own creative energy to the day, with street art, hidden bars, old brick buildings and laneways full of character. It gave every look a little extra edge.

BTS at the Museum
For a more minimal backdrop, we headed to Melbourne Museum.
Its clean lines, open spaces and modern textures worked beautifully with soft tailoring, elevated separates and easy everyday pieces. The contrast lets each outfit shine without feeling over-styled.
Some of our favourite behind-the-scenes moments happened while moving through the city: quick touch-ups on the footpath, changing bags, racing between locations and capturing the shift from bright afternoon light to moody evening tones.
